Recipe of chicken pakoda 🍗
Here is a delicious and easy-to-make recipe for chicken pakoda.
Ingredients:
• 1/2kg of boneless chicken, cut into cubes
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 2 teaspoons garlic powder
• 1 tablespoon ground cumin
• 1 teaspoon ground coriander
• 1 teaspoon ground red pepper
• 2 teaspoons curry powder
• 1 teaspoon garam masala
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 2 tablespoons canola oil
• 2 cups yogurt
• 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
• 2 tablespoons of chopped cilantro
Instructions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, cumin, coriander, red pepper, curry powder, garam masala, and salt and pepper. Add the chicken cubes to the bowl, and coat them with the spices.
2. In a large frying pan / wok , heat the oil over medium heat. Add the spiced chicken cubes to the oil and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the chicken is cooked through.
3. In a separate bowl, mix together the yogurt, lemon juice, and cilantro.
4. Spread the yogurt mixture on the cooked chicken, and cook for another 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Serve the chicken pakoda hot with chutney or a side salad. Enjoy!
