Easy Chicken Pulao Recipe.
This delicious one-pot dish is a great weeknight dinner option. It's easy to make, flavorful, and ready in just 30 minutes. It's also a great way to use up leftover chicken.
Ingredients:
• 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
• 1/2 kg of boneless chicken, cut into cubes
• 2 cups of basmati rice, washed and soaked in water for 30 minutes
• 3 ½ cups of water
• 2 bay leaves
• 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
• 2 teaspoons of garam masala
• 2 teaspoons of turmeric powder
• 2 teaspoons of coriander powder
• 1 teaspoon of ginger-garlic paste
• 2 tablespoons of freshly chopped coriander
• Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Heat the oil in a large pot or wok over medium-high heat.
2. Add the cumin seeds, bay leaves, and chicken cubes. Stir to coat with the oil and cook for 5 minutes.
3. Add the garam masala, turmeric, coriander powder, ginger-garlic paste, and salt. Stir to combine and cook for 2 minutes.
4. Add the soaked basmati rice and stir to combine.
5. Pour in the water and stir to combine. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, cover with a lid, and simmer for 20 minutes.
6. Add the freshly chopped coriander and stir to combine.
7. Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.
8. Serve hot with raita or plain yogurt. Enjoy!
